About SponsBody
SponsBody is a marketplace where athletes sell sponsorship spots on their body for a specific race, and brands claim them in a doubling auction. On race day the athlete wears the brands’ logos as temporary tattoos or kit prints.
What SponsBody does
- Athletes build a page with a 3D model of their body, choose a race and the spots they sell (new pages start with chest, upper back, shoulders and quads) and set an opening price for each. SponsBody suggests prices from the athlete’s verified social reach.
- Brands open the page, pick a spot, upload a logo, see it on the 3D model and pay through Stripe. Until bidding closes 7 days before the race, another brand can take the spot over by paying double the current price, and the brand it replaces is refunded in full, minus card processing fees.
- On race day the athlete wears the logos as temporary tattoos or kit prints and posts race-day photos. SponsBody pays the athlete once the race is done and the photos are posted.
What SponsBody does not do
- It does not organize races, and it is not affiliated with HYROX or any other race organizer.
- It does not decide whether an event allows sponsor logos. Rules differ between events and divisions, so athletes check the event’s rules before they publish a page.
- It does not promise any particular reach, result or race performance.
- It never posts on an athlete’s behalf and never reads their messages or individual followers.
- It does not show ads or sell personal data.

How SponsBody earns money
Listing a page is free. SponsBody keeps 15% of what the final sponsor of each spot pays, and the athlete receives the rest after the race. Brands pay the price shown on the spot. SponsBody does not earn money from ads or from selling data. How prices work.
Where data and servers are
SponsBody’s database, sign-in and file storage run on Supabase in Ireland, and the website is hosted by Vercel in Dublin, both in the EU. Card payments go through Stripe. Body-scan photos are sent to Tripo in Hong Kong only after the athlete gives explicit consent, and SponsBody deletes them as soon as the 3D model is built. Page views are counted anonymously with PostHog on EU servers in Germany, without cookies. The Privacy Policy lists every provider.
